　　(中外新闻社中外新闻网北京报道)冬日的北京，依然五彩缤纷。两个多月前，备受瞩目的中国共产党第二十次全国代表大会在京落下帷幕。本刊记者历时12天跟踪报道，感受和见证了中国已经掀开新的历史篇章。在这样一个重点时刻：12月29日晚上，中外新闻社在北京举办中外新闻社创立21周年庆典、2022《中外新闻》时代新闻人物颁奖典礼。

　　In the beautiful winter in Beijing. More than two months ago, the 20th National Congress of the CPC was successfully held in Beijing. Our reporters spent 12 days tracking, reporting and witnessing that China has opened a new chapter in its history. At this important moment, Home and Abroad News Press hosted the 21st Anniversary Ceremony and Award Ceremony of 2022 “Home and Abroad News Press – News Person of the Year” in Beijing on December 29th, 2022.

　　The foreign guests included: Ambassador of Iran to China H.E. Mr. Mohammad Keshavarz Zadeh, Ambassador of Moldova to China H.E. Mr. Dumitru Braghis, Ambassador of Somalia to China H.E. Mr. Awale Ali Kullane, Ambassador of Palestine to China H.E. Mr. Fariz Mehdawi, Special representative of Lebanon Ambassador to China Mr. Zaher Al Aridi, Special representative of Iraqi Ambassador to China Mr. Mohammad Assad Naji as well as the Cultural Councilors and Commercial Councilors from Pakistan, Uruguay, Sri Lanka, Kyrgyzstan, Iran, Tunisia, Bangladesh, Serbia, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and 18 countries. 　　联合国国际合作协调局副局长兼新闻部部长、中外新闻社总裁韦燕首先致欢迎辞。她说，今晚的盛会, 我们把不同肤色、不同语言、不同声音、不同宗教各国驻华大使、媒体记者、新闻官与我们汇聚一堂，共同分享伟大中国的发展成果，为世界“新闻外交”发展注入新的能量。

　　The Deputy Director of United Nation International Cooperation and Coordination, the President of Home and Abroad News Press, Mrs. Wei Yan firstly delivered a welcome speech. 　　On the behalf of Home and abroad News Press Board of Directors, Executive Committee, Administrative Committee as well as 65 branches and information centers around the world, Mrs. Wei Yan expressed warm welcome to all guests. 　　2010年5月20日，中外新闻社收到从台北发来函件：台当局 “行政院新闻局” 文批准。至此，中外新闻社台湾分社获得了批准。

　　May 20th, 2010, Home and Abroad News Press received the official approval letter from the Taiwan authority to open the local branch in Taiwan.

　　2011年5月6日，国务院港澳办批准中外新闻社在北京设立北京记者站。

　　May 6th, 2011, Chinese State Council officially approved Home and Abroad News Press to open the Mainland China office in Beijing. This was an important step for our domestic development.

　　9年前中外新闻社驻中国传媒大学工作室揭牌仪式在中国传媒大学举行，中国传媒大学与中外新闻社结为战略合作伙伴关系给中外新闻社插上了腾飞翅膀。

　　9 years ago, Communication University of China and Home and Abroad News Press established strategic partnership, and we opened a local office in the Communication University of China.

　　至此，中外新闻社已经发展成为有以下7个附属结构：中外新闻杂志、中外新闻网、中外企业家联合会、国际廉政观察委员会、国礼书画院、中外新闻社大使俱乐部和中外新闻社“一带一路”教育研学院。这些组织发挥着不同的作用，极大地促进了中外友谊与合作。

　　Until now, Home and Abroad News Press successfully launched 7 associated organizations within the organizations structure, including Home and Abroad News Press magazine and website, Chinese and Foreign Entrepreneur Association, International Integrity Observation Committee, National Artworks Institute, Ambassadors Club and "Belt and Road" Education Research Institute. Those associated organizations serve for different functions and greatly connect and promote China and foreign countries’ friendship and cooperation.

　　庆典会上，与会代表高度评价中外新闻社21年来为世界了解中国和中国了解世界、促进中国人民和世界人民的友好关系发展做出了重大贡献，在国际社会的舞台上，中外新闻社把和谐融入世界，向世人展示的不仅仅是一个传媒的职能，更是传递和平的纽带和桥梁。“展示‘新闻外交’、推动世界和平”---成为了中外新闻社发展的主题，中外新闻社在推动“新闻外交”、加强国际合作领域上又成立了中外新闻社大使俱乐部，至今已经有49国大使在大使俱乐部平台上相互交流, 获取资讯。今天又有6位大使接受中外新闻社大使俱乐部荣誉主席职位聘书，为中外新闻社的“媒体多元外交”在中国和平发展道路上发挥独特的作用。

　　At the ceremony, all guests highly appraised for Home and Abroad News Press’ significant contributions to develop close relationships between China and other countries, promote the friendship between Chinese people and all people around the world in the past 21 years. Home and Abroad News Press have integrated Chinese harmony into the world, showing the world not only the function of a media, but also a bridge of friendship and peace. "News Diplomacy for World Peace" is the key development theme of Home and Abroad News Press. In order to promote "News Diplomacy" and strengthen international cooperation, Home and Abroad News Press Ambassadors Club was founded. So far, 49 foreign ambassadors are actively exchanging information on this Ambassadors Club platform. At the ceremony, six more foreign ambassadors to China accepted the invitation letters to become the Honorary President of Home and Abroad News Press Ambassadors Club.
