　　晚上19:00, 会场上奏响了牙买加和中华人民共和国两国国歌, 牙买加驻华大使丘伟基阁下（H.E. Mr. Antonia Hugh）在致辞说, 作为加勒比地区最早支持一个中国原则并与中国建交的英语国家, 自1972年11月21日牙中正式建交以来, 两国伙伴关系不断深化。在相互尊重的基础上, 牙中两国积极开展合作, 发展多边主义, 建立更为行之有效与公平的全球经济治理体系, 牙方也期待中国推动国内现代化计划落实、推动“一带一路”倡议和全球发展倡议工作的顺利开展。

　　At 19:00 in the evening, the national anthems of Jamaica and the People's Republic of China were played at the conference. Ambassador Antonia Hugh delivered a speech and said that as the first English-speaking country in the Caribbean that supports the “One-China Policy” and established diplomatic relations with China, since the formal establishment of diplomatic relations between Jamaica and China on November 21, 1972, the bilateral partnership has been continuously developed. On the basis of mutual respect, the two countries actively carry out cooperation, develop multilateralism, and establish a more effective and fair global economic governance system. The two countries also look forward to China's promotion of the implementation of domestic modernization plans, and the smooth implementation of the "the Belt and Road" initiative and the global development initiative.

Jamaica thanks China for its valuable support in Jamaica's infrastructure construction, health education, sports and other fields. 　　外交部副部长谢锋在招待会上致辞。他说, 半个世纪以来, 中牙两国关系经受住了国际形势风云变幻的考验, 从建交到建立共同发展的友好伙伴关系, 再到建立战略伙伴关系, 实现了“三级跳”, 成为国与国相互尊重和平等相待的典范。

　　Vice Foreign Minister Xie Feng addressed the reception. He said that over the past half century, the relations between China and Jamaica have withstood the test of the changing international situations. From the establishment of diplomatic relations to the establishment of a friendly partnership for common development, to the establishment of a strategic partnership, the "three leaps" have been achieved in such short time, and this achievement become a model of mutual respect and equal treatment between countries.

　　谢锋提到, 牙买加是中国在加勒比地区重要的合作伙伴, 也是该地区首个同中国签署“一带一路”合作规划的国家, 两国在基础设施、电信、通讯、医疗、卫生、人力资源开发等领域的合作取得了丰硕的成果, 在2022年7月揭牌的中国-加勒比发展中心也将成为中牙合作新的重要平台。此外, 两国在文艺、体育、旅游、新闻等领域的交流合作方兴未艾。中方愿同牙方一道, 以两国建交50周年为契机, 根据两国达成的重要共识, 深化各领域合作, 推动中牙伙伴关系发展, 构建更加紧密的中牙命运共同体。

　　Xie Feng mentioned that Jamaica is an important partner of China in the Caribbean and the first country in the region to sign the "Belt and Road" cooperation plan with China. The cooperation between the two countries in infrastructure, telecommunications, communications, medical care, health, human resources development and other fields has achieved fruitful results. The China Caribbean Development Center, which was officially opened in July 2022, will also become a new important platform for China and Jamaica cooperation. In addition, exchanges and cooperation between the two countries in the fields of literature and art, sports, tourism and media are in the ascendant. China is willing to work with Jamaica to take the opportunity of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries, deepen cooperation in various fields, promote the development of the China- Jamaica partnership and build a closer China-Jamaica community of shared future based on the important consensus reached by the two countries.
